Intensive Individual & Group Psychotherapy
One-on-one counseling with an expert psychotherapist who understands what a Client is going through makes all the difference.
The disease of addiction, though insidious in and of itself, is often accompanied by co-occurring psychiatric disorders which can exacerbate the severity of the condition. Further complicating matters, co-occurring disorders are sometimes difficult to accurately diagnose given that symptoms of addiction can oftentimes be misinterpreted as symptoms of a psychiatric illness, and visa versa.
Proper and effective treatment of a co-occurring psychiatric disorder is hinged upon an accurate diagnosis that commences at the very beginning of our admissions process. Through observation and information gathered from our Nursing and Psychiatric Assessments, coupled with that provided by our Client and his or her family members, our team of clinicians will take the proper steps to accurately diagnose the co-occurring mental disorder so that it can be treated along with the addiction.

Holistic Addiction Treatment Methods
While we pride ourselves in being at the very forefront of scientific and evidence-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation techniques and therapies, we understand that an alternative approach to recovery is sometimes necessary for some Clients in addition to our core drug and alcohol treatment program. That is why we supplement our program with an holistic, lifestyle-based approach to treatment.
Our activity leaders and trained professionals help Clients develop invaluable tools and techniques for achieving levels of relaxation and self-soothing that are critical in learning to mitigate symptoms of distress that could trigger relapse or self-medication. These activities also help our Clients identify and work through emotions that might not otherwise present themselves in ordinary day-to-day or traditional therapeutic activities. This makes our holistic approaches key pieces in many of our Clients’ rehabilitation and recovery processes.
Our goal is to provide alternative means for our Clients to achieve a clean, healthy lifestyle, and clarity of the mind, body and spirit.
Among the holistic activities we offer at Evolutions are:
- Art Therapy
- Canine Therapy
